Ok, I remember the Skyway Ride and loved that it went *through* the Matterhorn and you could get a peak at the The Abominable Snowman (and yes, when I was little, I totally thought the monster was *real* and that he lived in that there mountain).
I was so pissed when not only did the Skyway ride go away, but they patched the holes in the mountain where it glided through.
I loved the Skyway. Yes, I did.

One of my favorite photos of all time. Opening day, 1969. They had to change some parts of the original ride because it was deemed “too frightening” and guests didn’t like it. I wish I could have seen it!
So amazing.
