In this photo, taken in January 1974, the boys check out the passing Liberty Square Riverboat and Mike Fink Keel Boat on Rivers of America in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom Park.

Aerial photo of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland. This is prior to construction of the Big Thunder Ranch and Festival Arena, which would take up the cleared/partly grassy space at the back left of photo.

The three ‘isolated’ rock structures across the path from Big Thunder are remnants of the Nature’s Wonderland ride’s Living Desert area, and are still in the park to this day, though more greenery grown around up around them and fencing added.
