To clear things up, on March 7th Fastpass rules are changing…
So, you all know the rules of Fastpasses, correct? There are two times on it, between which you can return and use your Fastpass ticket.
Ok, just checking.
Anyway, what all Cast Members know and a lot of guests have figured out is that although we do not take Fastpasses before that initial time, we will take them any time in the day after that.
HOWEVER…
Disney decided that they don’t like letting things slide for too long.
So, tomorrow at Walt Disney World in Florida, Cast Members are instructed to accept NO FASTPASSES after that end time. At all. Not a one.Of course, this may come as quite a shock to people who knew the “old trick”
And every CM knows what this means. It means that guests will come up with a Fastpass for 5-6pm at 8pm, expecting to go into the ride. And we’ll have to be like:
And of course the guests will be like
And think that we don’t know about the old rule, but we’ll explain that we changed it. And then we all know what happens next… the old act of
that we see from non-resort guests during EMH. And we’ll still have to be like
Oh, but it will be worse than EMH. Much worse.
So at the end of the day, most CMs who have to deal with Fastpasses will end up being like
So, that’s what’s up. I know, crazy right? So for now it’s just WDW, so Disneyland and California Adventure can still be like “I can let you in after the end time if I wannaaaa”
But if it works at WDW, there is no doubt that DLR will follow suit
It’s sure to be a fun few weeks coming up.
