Did You Know? The Skyway closed for good on November 10th 1999. Why? Well there was a rumor that it closed because someone fell to their death from the platform, but the real reason it closed was because it was unprofitable, very slow loading and couldn’t really accomidate guests with disabilities

Ok, I remember the Skyway Ride and loved that it went *through* the Matterhorn and you could get a peak at the The Abominable Snowman (and yes, when I was little, I totally thought the monster was *real* and that he lived in that there mountain).

I was so pissed when not only did the Skyway ride go away, but they patched the holes in the mountain where it glided through.

I loved the Skyway.  Yes, I did.
